Current and potential Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts (and their parents!) are welcome to attend a meeting to decide if Troop/Pack 162 if right for them. If you decide you want to stay, all you need to do is apply!

Cub Scout Pack 162 is open to all youth in kindergarten through fifth grades, or 5 to 10 years of age. Children older than 10, or those who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting, but may be eligible to join the Scout troop. Scout Troop 162 is currently only open to boys between 11 to 17 years of age. Note: A separate troop for girls may formed if there is enough interest in the area.

Troop meetings generally focus on skills instruction, games, rank advancement and merit badge activities. Monthly outings may include campouts, hiking, canoing/kayaking, service projects and the occasional fundraising activity.

Membership forms are available for download on the Forms page of our site for your convenience, and may be printed, filled out and brought with you to any meeting. The Scoutmaster/Cubmaster will also typically have physical copies of the forms available.
